Psalm 119:25-32 (Part 4 of 22)

The Lord God of Israel's Word:    Psalm 119:25-32

My soul clings to the dust; Revive me according to Your word.

I have declared my ways, and You answered me; Teach me Your statutes.

Make me understand the way of Your precepts; So shall I meditate on Your wonderful works.

My soul [d]melts from heaviness; Strengthen me according to Your word.

Remove from me the way of lying, And grant me Your law graciously.

I have chosen the way of truth; Your judgments I have laid before me.

I cling to Your testimonies; O Lord, do not put me to shame!

I will run the course of Your commandments, For You shall enlarge my heart.

Our Response:

Dear Father in heaven, You sent us Your Son to live His life on earth just as we live our lives on this sin-forsaken earth.  We come to You in Jesus name.

Just as our Lord Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life on earth, revive us so that we may life in freedom in His name.  Teach us your statutes, that we may repent and live to follow Your ways.  Make us understand and show us the joy of meditating on Your wonderful works.

Lord, we are heavy-laden with burdens of this earth.  Strengthen us in Jesus, that we may be more like Him, and do Your work on earth.

We prefer the path of truth -- You are truth.  Remove from out path the darkness of liars.

Holy Spirit minister to us every moment of the day and night, that we may know Your law.

Your truth is our path.  We choose to follow Your judgments.  Help us O'Lord.  We cling to You Lord.  In You there is no shame.  We desire to run the course of this life, obeying Your commandments always.  In You, we have love and joy-filled heart.
