Psalm 119:9-16 (Part 2 of 22)

The Lord God of Israel's Word:  Psalm 119:9-16

How can a young man cleanse his way?  By taking heed according to Your word.

With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!

Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.

Blessed are You, O Lord! Teach me Your statutes.

With my lips I have declared All the judgments of Your mouth.

I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches.

I will meditate on Your precepts, And contemplate Your ways.

I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.

Our Response:

Almighty God, Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we come to You in His blessed name..

Lord, we ask for cleansing through Jesus blood, death and resurrection.  Forgive us our sins in the name of  Jesus Christ.  We thank You Father that you gave us Your Son (forgive us Father!) and that the Lord Jesus obeyed You Father and loved us so much that He gave His life for us.  We thank You Holy Spirit for raising the Lord Jesus from the grave, that we may live eternally with You, both now and forever more.

Father God, Lord Jesus, Your Word is great and good.  We desire to learn and obey Your Word.

We seek You Lord.  Help us to keep Your commandments that we may not stray from Your presence.

Your Word is in our hearts, and we repent, desiring not to sin against You.

Blesses are You Lord Jesus.  Holy Spirit teach us Your laws and the Good way.

We declare to the world that You are Lord God Almighty, and desire to teach others Your Word.

We rejoice in You Lord Jesus.  You are our Brother in the Lord and You call us friend.

Holy Spirit continue to minister to us throughout the day, and while we sleep.

Father God, we pray as always in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Amen.
